Who Is Who At Fashion Week: The Editors

Every Fashion Month street style photographers capture some amazing style. Trends can be spotted, the latest designer items – some straight off the runway – can be seen and let’s not forget street style photos are a great source of inspiration. But who are these street style stars?

Here’s a who is who of the magazine editors which can be spotted at the respective fashion weeks, starting with Caroline Issa. Editor (among others of Tank magazine), street style star and designer, Caroline Issa is known for her elegant style which is easy to copy.  You’ ll see her at the New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks.

Lynn Yaeger

Instantly recognisable for her statement look, cropped, henna-dyed hair, doll-inspired makeup, and layers upon layers of voluminous skirts, you can’t missLynn Yaeger during Fashion Month (in case you’re wondering her look is inspired by things like silent movies and dolls). Lynn Yaeger is a contributing fashion editor to Vogue.com and a contributing writer to Vogue.

Christine Centenera

“I like when someone is really put together but looks effortless. She really just knows every accessory to tie an outfit together. Sometimes people can be really simple and look great. She has definitely accessorised and just puts different things together that you wouldn’t think of but they just look so good on her.” This is Kim Kardashian on Vogue Australia senior fashion editor, Christine Centenera.

Because of her style Christine Centenera is quickly becoming a street style favourite   and if you scroll through street style photos she will always pop up.

Veronika Heilbrunner

One part of fashion’s most photographed street style couples, her other half is Justin O’Shea (buying director at MyTheresa), Veronika Heilbrunner is all about couture looks mixed with unexpected finds. As Style Editor at Harper’s Bazaar Germany she visits the shows and is always swarmed by street style photographers. She’s known for being a master of teaming flat shoes with her outfits.

Anya Ziourova

Stylist, fashion director at Tatler Russia, Creative Consultant at Allure Russia and a member of the so-called ‘Russian Fashion Pack’, Anya Ziourova is a favourite of street style photographers. And rightly so as she’s always rocking some kind of statement outfit.

Miroslava Duma

Miroslava Dum or Mira for friends is a former editor for Harper’s Bazaar Russia and is now amongst others a freelance writer for numerous publications such as OK (Russia), Tatler, Glamour (Russia). In addition, she is co-founder of Buro247 an online platform for fashion, beauty and more.

Giovanna Battaglia and Anna Dello Russo

Whenever you see Giovanna Battaglia during Fashion Month there’s a big chance that you will run into Anna Dello Russo as well and vice versa. Both are real street style icons and that’s no wonder given the outfits they wear.

Giovanna Battaglia, a former model for among others Dolce & Gabbana, is currently Senior Fashion Editor at Vogue Japan and Contributing Fashion Editor at W Magazine. Anna Dello Russo, Editor At Large and creative consultant for Vogue Japan, started out as a Fashion Editor at Vogue Italia and reportedly has over 4000 pairs of shoes.

Suzy Menkes

Known for her trademark hairstyle (the pouf), Suzy Menkes can be spotted almost everywhere during Fashion Month. One of the most esteemed fashion critics out there, she is now the Vogue International Editor and writes for Vogue online after 25 years working for the International Herald Tribune (now The International New York Times) as style editor reporting on fashion shows and events around the world.

During Fashion Month, her ‘The Suzy Menkes Report’, is a must read for fashionistas and alike.

Daria Shapovalova

Scroll through street style photos and there’s a big chance you’ll see Daria Shapovalova featured. Kieve native, Daria Shapovalova is a street style favourite who mixes known designer labels with lesser known Ukrainian designers pieces thereby driving attention to these lesser labels. Besides being a contributor to among others Style.com, she is also the organizer and creative director of Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days.
