What to Wear for Your Next Ski Trip
If you are headed to Verbier, St. Moritz, Courchevel or Gstaad for a last minute winter escape on the slopes and wonder what to wear, we’ve made a winter capsule that is chic enough to mount the slopes of the world’s exclusive resorts as well as the party scene. It’s also low key enough for when you want to let your hair down by the fireplace.
Here’s a little taste of what awaits:
On trend this season is the stylish combination of red and lilac bright colours paired with a classic black or white jacket. Our favourite brands this season are Kru, and the Perfect Moment.
Ski boots are not pretty but essential, so leave your heels at home. Take a pair of smart booties like the ones made by Rachel Comey – Sherpa , which will keep you nice and warm for more formal gatherings and outings.
If you are never sure what to pack for après ski, stick to the basics, a smart coat that is versatile enough to wear in the snow, but smart enough to wear in an exclusive resort. Fuzzy statement coats should be left at home. They take too much space in your suitcase.
Be sure to take a variety of warm sweaters to match different occasions, and tops for layering. Don’t forget the essentials (woolly hat, gloves, and a cashmere scarf.
